Dear Blog,
Today, I chipped one of my front teeth. Now, I have to tell you that it is not very visible, but it feels funny. It's like a jagged fingernail that needs to be filed, and it is driving me crazy! Crazy! I don't even know how I did it. I just looked in the mirror and noticed that one of my teeth looked a little different. Oh, the trauma.
On Tuesday, I made two pumpkin pies from scratch. I discovered that they sell pie pumpkins in the vegetable section of the store, so I bought two. I spent the better part of an hour dissecting the pumpkin to get out all the good meat. There is a reason that everyone uses the canned stuff. Anyway, the pies are really tasty and it makes me happy to have a little piece of fall.
On Saturday night, I got a stomach virus or something and spent most of Sunday in bed (at least once I stopped running to the bathroom). I was still feeling pretty sick on Monday, but that is just how it goes.
Well, I gotta walk the dogs.

Dear Blog,
It's been so long that I don't remember anything that I have done. So I will just stick to this week, as it is in the more recent past.
I haven't been up to much lately, just working and taking care of the 'kids.' Of course, when I reference the 'kids,' I am speaking of Monty and Blu. Blu has grown quite a bit over the past month. She is about as tall as Monty now, but she is very light. She has a Lil' Bro head and a thin little body and long, spidery legs. She walks around with her mouth open, and she likes to bite Monty's ears. Who wouldn't want to bite those velvety lili-pads? I have been known to do it as well.
The other day, I was walking the kids when these two street dogs started barking at us and following us. I was really scared they might attack us and my heart started racing. Instead of running, I decided to turn around and 'shsh' those unruly dogs, Dog Whisperer style. Would you believe it worked? Those dogs bought it and left us alone.
Well, I am happy that tomorrow is Friday. Juan and I don't have much planned for the weekend, except to go to the movies. We love to go to the Platino Cinemex and sit back in the reclining chairs and watch a picture.
