Dear Blog,
Let me update you on my week so far:
On Sunday, I wasn't feeling well, so I spent the whole day resting.
On Monday, I didn't do much. I just went to work and hung out with Juanty. I did buy my plane ticket to South Carolina for Christmas. I'm gonna leave on Christmas Day and return on New Year's Eve Day. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
On Tuesday, I went to Lucha Libre, which is Mexico's version of WWF. It was very entertaining. The first fight was three guys in purple spandex versus three guys in white and red. I was going for the guys in purple spandex because there was a little person on the team. Even though he had a size disadvantage, I thought he wrestled well. The third fight was also amusing. There was this Italian guy that the ladies seemed to love. He was tall and built, but I couldn't get past his little spandex briefs. Every time he did something good, he gyrated his hips for all the ladies. The big fight was between Dr. Wagner and Atlantis, but I found it kind of lame. The most amusing part was the crowd. We must have been sitting in Atlantis' fan section because they kept chanting, "Wagner Puto!" I won't translate, but you probably get the idea.
On Wednesday, I was really tired because I stayed out late on Tuesday. After work, I came home and took a long nap with my little Montster.
Today is Thursday, and I think Juan and I are gonna eat some hamburgers.
We have a three-day weekend this weekend. On Saturday, Juan turns thirty--THIRTY--what an old geezer. He has at least five white hairs, too. He wants to go to some jazz bar and eat Colombian food.
Oh, and guess what? They put up a huge Christmas tree on Reforma, and I can see it from my window. It's just like Christmas! I can't wait to put out my nativity scene. If only the weather would take a turn for the worse. I mean sunny and seventy every day is enough to turn me into a real Scrooge. Ba hum bug.
Love ya,
Jenny en la ciudad
