Dear Blog,
I have had a good weekend. Juan and I celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday, although I have never really been a big fan of this holiday. We went out to dinner and Juan gave me a present, and you will never believe what he got me...He had an artist paint an oil portrait of Monty! It looks just like him too. I know this may seem crazy to most people, but I love it. It was definitely a surprise.
Earlier, I was watching the Clemson/Virginia game. My question is this: How can they show this game in Mexico and not Carolina/Duke? That is just crazy to me. Hopefully, the second game will be on down here...I mean, they need to get with the program. My brother would be glad to know that they also showed the N.C. State game in the wee hours of the morning.
Now, I am re-watching 24 from last week. I fell asleep during the second episode last Monday, so I need to watch it again to know what is going on this week. You may be wondering how I fell asleep during such an action-packed show, but it came on at 11 p.m. and it was a Monday night!
I should find out tomorrow what is wrong with my computer. The goal is to have it back by Wednesday because Juan leaves for Washington on Thursday. I can't be without the net.

erin is right...we must have a photo of this painting! does it have an ornate gilded frame? if not i will be happy to send you one.
PS: i just want to say that in order to post my previous comment, i had to type the word "crudheba," which i'm pretty sure is not a word at all. and it looks like now i have to type "nonestst," which reminds me of the Royal Nonesuch and is also not a word.

I think you should sign up for twitter so you can keep us all more up to date. You can even update that thing with a text message, and I know you love those.
