Dear Blog,
Excuse me for not writing you for so long. It has been a busy week. On Monday, I went to work and learned that I missed some drama the previous week. On Halloween, someone stole 800 pesos from a parent. I learned that everyone I work with is a suspect, except for me (since I couldn't possibly have stolen the dough--I was in D.C.). I was very interested to learn this, since I 'lost' 500 pesos a couple of weeks earlier. At the time, I didn't want to think that someone stole it from me, but now I have to wonder.
On Tuesday, I was so into the election. I was sad I didn't get to stand in line and vote, but I got to watch it on t.v. After work, Juan and I went to the American Embassy's election party. They served hamburgers and potato chips. They also had several big screens on CNN and Fox News. The holograms were quite impressive. They even gave out "I voted" stickers. I had a good time. We left right after they announced that Barack Obama had won Virginia.
Yesterday, Juan and I went to his friend's birthday party. It was at a popular Mexican Restaurant/Bar. We had fun, but I was super sleepy, so we left around midnight.
This morning, we took Monty to the park. Juan took him last weekend, and he made a new Beagle friend, Bruna. When we got there this morning, Bruna was already there. She is about a year and a half, but she isn't much bigger than Monty. They spent the morning chasing each other and wrestling. They played so well together; however, Bruna got jealous sometimes and barked at Monty if he went to sniff another dog's hoo-ha.
After the park, we went to an art fair at the American School. There were some cool pieces of art for sale, but the only things we bought were a cheeseburger and a hot dog. Oh well.
Tonight, I am just gonna hang out and watch a movie, maybe eat a taco.

do tacos taste like taco bell there? or more like del taco? it's a question i'm very interested in getting to the bottom of ... or as some say .... getting to the "huha" of.
