Just another Saturday en la ciudad

Dear Blog,

I am just sitting here in Starbucks, charging my computer. Our electricity went out again--this seems to be a frequent occurrence lately. Anyway, I used the last of my computer battery watching the most recent episode of Lost. I have to say that I am definitely more into the storyline that has the flight landing safely in L.A. The island is getting a little out there for me, and I can suspend disbelief .

Haven't been up to much else lately. Juan got back last night. I spent the better part of my day yesterday watching the ladies of The View argue on youtube. I love that I can just go to youtube and find clips from television shows. The only problem is that it becomes addictive and is hard to stop watching.

I'm drinking a Tazo Chai, thinking of my dad. If he were here, he would be drinking the same. Of course, it might upset him to discover that this particular Starbucks does not sell oatmeal raisin cookies. He might have to settle for pan de elote (a sweeter version of cornbread). Hope all is well with everyone north of the border. Today would've been a good day for Target and Chick-Fil-A. I guess I'll have to settle for Starbucks and tacos.

Love,
Jenny en la ciudad

I totally agree about lost. EW calls it the "sideways" storyline when they are in LA. Very intriguing to see them all in different contexts. I'm glad you're keeping up. Another new episode tonight!

Target and Chick-fil-a....the best day ever. One day we'll go together again. :)
