Today's Forecast: Cold and Rainy

Dear Blog,

It is 52 degrees and raining--it's like the most perfect day ever! Finally, the sun went away and I got my cold and cloudy day. I would prefer snow but whatever. You get what you get and you don't mind a bit. That's what my co-teacher used to always say.

Juan went to New York on Tuesday, so I have been home with the doggies. I've been trying to have the dogs sleep on their dog beds all night. It's an ongoing struggle. On Tuesday night, Monty woke me up around 3 a.m. He was trying to get on the bed and when I didn't let him, he cried like a baby. Needless to say, I didn't sleep very well. He did stay on the floor until 5:30 a.m. I figure that's pretty good since I get up around 6 a.m. anyway. Blu doesn't seem to mind sleeping on the floor, must seem like the Ritz compared to the cold, dirty streets of Mexico City.
