Weekend Briefing

Dear Blog,

Even though I am missing all the snow in the Mid-Atlantic, I am not missing out on all the fun. I've had a good weekend here in Mexico City. On Friday, we saw "Up in the Air." I enjoyed it, but Juan thought it was a little slow. If it isn't gory and stupid, it doesn't hold his interest. Ah, I only jest. He does like good movies, but he is always drawn to the trashy horror ones.

On Saturday, I waited for the plumber all day...and he never came. While I was waiting, I started watching "Jersey Shore" on the web. Wow. Wow. I have never seen such trash--of course, I am totally hooked. It's like The Real World on steroids. Wow.

Today, we saw "Invictus." I really enjoyed it. I still have no idea what the hell is going on in the game of rugby, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. After the movie, we took the dogs on a long walk. Monty wore his backpack. That's right, he has a little backpack. He carries his own water and treats and doggy waste bags. It actually helps the little guy to slow down a little on walks. It's harder for him to pull with the extra weight--hehe. I like to call him Packman now.

Tomorrow starts another week and since it didn't snow in Mexico, I will be going to work. Just saw the New Orleans Saints win the Superbowl. Good for them.

Love,
Jenny en la ciudad

Very eventful! Rugby is a foreign language to me. Haha.. and yes good for the Saints. Although I was more of a Colts fan.

Disfruta la ciudad de Mexico, extrana! Have a great week.
